Letter to Tomorrow is private by design. No account, no login, no ads, and no servers of ours store your letters.

In short

We do not collect personal data, track you, show ads, or sell or share data. Your letters stay on your device. If iCloud is active, they can sync through your private iCloud using Apple CloudKit.

What the app stores

Letters, settings, and reminders

The app lets you create text or voice letters for yourself. The letter text, audio recordings, letter dates, and app settings are stored locally on your device. Reminder settings are used only to schedule local notifications on your device.

iCloud

Private sync through Apple

When iCloud is available and active for the app, your letters may be backed up and synced through your private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit. This is handled by Apple under your Apple Account and iCloud settings. We do not receive, view, or control your iCloud content. If iCloud is not available or not active, your letters stay local to your device unless you export them.

Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

What we do not do

No collection, no tracking

The developer does not collect personal information from the app. The app does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, third-party tracking, account login, or our own server. We do not sell or share personal data because we do not receive any from the app.

Permissions

Only when needed

Microphone access is requested only when you choose to record a voice letter. The recording is saved as part of your letter. Notifications are optional local reminders scheduled on your device. You can change microphone, notification, and iCloud permissions in iOS Settings.

Export

Your copy, your control

You can export your letters at any time. iOS lets you choose where to send or save that copy. Once exported, the copy is controlled by you and by the app, service, or location you choose.

Retention and removal

Your data stays until you remove it

Sealed letters are not editable or individually deletable inside the app by design. To remove app data from your device, delete the app. To remove iCloud data for the app, manage the app's iCloud storage in iOS Settings. Exported copies remain wherever you saved them and must be removed there.

Contact by email

Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in the message. We use that information only to reply and handle your request.

Children

No developer-held child data

The app is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly collect information from children through the app. Because the developer does not collect app data, there is no developer-held child data from the app.

Changes

If this policy changes

If this policy changes, the last updated date above will be updated. Meaningful changes may be noted in the app or here.
